I live in a high income neighbourhood, and most people here listen to rap music. Personally, I LOVE Marilyn Manson. Ever since Smells like Children came out, and think I was in grade 3 back then. I thought he was so amazing since everyone here conforms to "whats cool" and hip hop is supposed just that. I've been obsessed with Manson for about 5 years now, and I think his songs are so real. "Man that you fear" from Antichrist Superstar is my favourite song of all time. It has so much feeling. I also listen to Disturbed, Pantera, Slipknot, DrainSTH, Silverchair, Incubus, Machinhead, Smashing Pumpkins, STATIC-X, Powerman5000, RATM, Coal Chamber, Godsmack, Rob Zombie, White Zombie, Sevendust and Orgy. Also, KMFDM who aren't so famous since they broke up, and they were solely blamed for the Columbine shooting. Two other awesome bands are Morbid Angel and Cradle of Filth. These are all really influential bands, and the worlds not perfect which is the inspiration I think behind all of their songs. If you feel bad about yourself, or you're depressed, you can listen to them and you'll realize that you're not alone in the world, and that everything will be okay.
