Materials:

  • Two metal soda pop bottle caps
  • Red and black acrylic paint
  • Paint brush
  • Scrap of red felt 2 and 1/2 inches by 3 inches.
  • Hot glue & hot glue gun
  • 28 inches of vinyl lacing
  • Picture
  • White glue
  • Scissors
Directions:

Paint the tops of bottle caps red. When dry, use black paint to add dots & other ladybug markings to one of the bottle cap tops. Use hot glue to glue felt to the inside of bottle caps. Glue one bottle cap to each 2 and 1/2 inch end. Carefully trim extra felt away from caps, leaving a 1/2 inch strip of felt between the two caps. Fold felt strip in half, so the insides of bottle caps are facing each other. Place a dot of hot glue on the inside fold line then attach vinyl lacing at center of lacing length. When hot glue is dry, knot the lacing ends together. With white glue, glue pictures to the inside of bottle caps.
